Let's learn mongoDB aggregation pipeline: What is aggregation? Aggregation is a way of processing a large number of documents in a collection by means of passing them through different stages. The stages make up what is known as a pipeline.. The stages in a pipeline can filter, sort, group, reshape, and modify documents that pass through the pipeline. #mongobd #mern #frontend

**Day 24 of talking about my tech activities:** ✅ Encountered an unexpected issue today while working with MongoDB 😅. I was trying to connect to my MongoDB Atlas cluster through VS Code but ran into an **ETIMEDOUT** error 🛑. Looks like my IP isn't whitelisted in the Network Access List, preventing the connection. ✅ Up next: Troubleshooting and resolving this issue by adding my IP address to the access list and verifying the connection. Error's still unresolved though 😫 💻🔧 Challenges like these are what make the journey exciting! Every day is a learning day in tech 🚀. #TechJourney #MongoDB #ProblemSolving #SoftwareEngineering

☸️𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀☸️ StatefulSets in Kubernetes are essential for managing stateful applications like databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB). They offer unique features like stable network identities, persistent storage, and ordered scaling, making them ideal for applications requiring consistent data management and reliable scaling. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘀: 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗗𝘀: Each pod gets a consistent network identifier that remains unchanged, even after rescheduling. 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Pods are created and scaled in a defined sequence, ensuring a reliable order of operations. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲: Each pod gets its own Persistent Volume (PV), ensuring data is retained even after restarts. Want to dive deeper into how StatefulSets work? Check out the full guide! My jokes might be candy corny (see what I did there?), but October's Index from MongoDB also brings my co-star, Peanut the chihuahua, dressed in his finest lion attire. 🦁 We have new content on Developer Center from Pavel Duchovny, Ricardo Mello, and Richmond Alake. 🔥 Check out the latest on YouTube 📹 with Tim Kelly, Jesse Hall, Apoorva Joshi, and Anaiya R.. Plus, we've got updates from some of our fantastic Community Champions and Creators—led by Veronica Cooley-Perry, PMP, CSM—like Markus Wildgruber, who published a tutorial on Developer Center about MongoDB C# aggregation pipeline basics, and Christoph Strobl, who shared "MongoDB for Java Developers: The Ultimate Spring Data MongoDB Starter Kit." 😎 Lastly, we're recapping out latest MongoDB User Groups (MUGs) 🌎 which happen thanks to the efforts of folks like Harshit Mehta, Kanin Kearpimy, and Yashwanth Alapati. Click below to watch the full video, and don't forget to like and comment. Do it for Peanut.

🚀 Unlocking the Secrets of Distributed Locking! 🔒 In distributed systems, managing access to shared resources is a critical challenge. Locking ensures that only one process can access a resource at any given time, preventing race conditions and ensuring data integrity. 🔍 Curious about how distributed locking works and why it's essential for building reliable systems? I've just published an article on Medium that dives deep into: 1. What distributed locking is and its importance 2. Various methods to achieve it 3. A hands-on implementation using Redis with Express.js Whether you're a developer, architect, or just passionate about tech, this article is for you! 🌐✨ 👉 Read the full article here! https://lnkd.in/dVEGfBKW Let’s unlock the potential of distributed systems together! 🔑💡 #DistributedSystems #Locking #Redis #TechArticles #Medium #SoftwareDevelopment #NodeJS #ExpressJS
