Be warned! This is a very cheesy post about our rice bowl launch in Dubai 🍚 Few months ago, three new items appeared on the menu of the Dubai pizzeria — cheese rice with different flavors. And in just a month, our rice won over guests and showed high sales figures. We talked to Spartak Arutyunyan, CEO Dodo Pizza UAE, about this new launch: "There are a lot of Indians, Filipinos and Pakistanis living in Dubai — and they all really like rice in its various forms. I have already had the experience of launching rice products in Dodo - I developed the entire menu for our startup in China. Based on this experience, we have created new unique rice products: a fusion of Indian flavors in Cheesy Butter Chicken, East Asian rice with Cheesy Chicken strips, as well as Cheesy Meaty BBQ with a large portion of meat with a more familiar European flavor. A month later, we saw that rice products were bringing in as many new customers as the top pizzas in this area. On average, one taste of pizza on the menu brings us 9 new customers per month, one taste of rice brought 13 - a very good result. Rice is even catching up with top-end pizzas in sales and is sold at the veteran level — like Double Pepperoni and Meat Lovers — without strong marketing support! One taste of pizza has about 200 sales per month, one taste of rice has 177 sales - these are quite high figures, despite the fact that rice covers a group of products for one, and pizza - from one to 4 people. Next, we will definitely look for ways to develop this product group, improve it and make it one of our offerings that distinguish us from all pizza competitors." #DodoPizza #DodoBrands
