Back in London again. And this time I brought the rain with me. ☔ No gigs this week unfortunately. This time I'm here for something far more important... It's Email and Copywriting training time for the Leyton London sales teams. One of the big questions so far has been around the CTA and what gets the best quality replies. There's the perennial question about asking for the meeting vs asking for interest. Does it really matter all that much? Honestly I'm not sure it does. We can get too hyper focused on the smallest elements or our emails, the subject lines, the CTA etc. That we forget their purpose. To start a conversation. That might not come from a reply, but from being memorable enough when we make that next dial. Standing out is more important than ticking the "good email writing" boxes. #Sales #SalesEnablement #ColdEmail #Prospecting #ColdOutreach

How do you feel when you consistently market your goods or services, yet you get little or no customers? ............................................................ Human beings by default are wired such that it takes a level of wisdom for them to be interested in what you do. The thing is... your services or products may be have good quality, yet you still find it hard getting people to patronize you. If you are in these shoes, then your marketing strategy might just be wrong. Marketing your products and services in such a way that people see you as being desperate reduces your worth. Human beings naturally won't value you when they see you are all over them, when your actions portray you can't do without them. What can you do then? Cold pitch! Cold pitching refers to the practice of reaching out to potential clients, customers, or partners with an unsolicited proposal, idea, or offer, typically via email, phone, or social media. The goal is to spark interest and initiate a conversation that may lead to collaboration, sales, or business opportunities. In so doing, your potential customers see that you are not just interested in selling to them, but also interested in their well-being. This breeds trust and satisfaction within them, such that they now come for your products or services in freewill. In my next post, I would be dropping 3 ways you can cold pitch a potential client. I'm Ifedayo Fetuga, your resilient email copywriter. I help brands get their desired results in the field of business.

Your sales pitch is only as strong as the words you use. It’s not just about what you’re selling. It’s about how you say it. Ever crafted the perfect pitch, only to hear, “I’ll think about it”? You’re not alone. Many pitches fall flat—not because the product isn’t great, but because the language doesn’t connect. Without words that spark emotion, create urgency, or build trust, your prospects will keep scrolling. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 “𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿” 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 “𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻?”: Urgency: Deadlines create action. Visuals: A picture sells faster than words. Consultative: Ask questions, tailor the pitch. Storytelling: Create a narrative, not just a pitch. Problem-Solution: Make your offer the only fix. Social Proof: Trust is contagious. Use testimonials. Benefit-Focused: Sell the outcome, not the product. Power Words: Exclusive, guaranteed—make an impact Each slide in this carousel breaks down one technique. Swipe through and level up your sales pitch game! 👇 Which one do you use the most? "The first person who taught me to love business and the art of closing sales is my dad. After my WAEC exams, I had the opportunity to stay with him at his business center, and I learned invaluable lessons during my time there. Throughout my stay, I noticed something remarkable: no one ever walked in with money and left without buying something—unless my dad wasn’t around. Curious about his secret, I once asked him how he did it. He laughed and said, 'You have to be a person of value and trustworthy. That’s the first step to achieving successful sales.' He taught me that instead of simply focusing on the price, it’s essential to sell the benefits of the product. For instance, when a customer would say, 'I want to get this...' he would respond enthusiastically, 'Great choice! With this product, you’ll experience fast results. It’s easy to carry and incredibly durable!' Then, he would create an irresistible offer, making it hard for customers to say no. Boom! Another sale closed. As a supplier for various companies, I witnessed how he built relationships and trust. When businesses called him to ask if he could handle their needs, he always delivered, and before long, contracts were awarded to him. That experience ignited my passion for the art of selling. I realized that many businesses struggle with low sales due to their inability to effectively engage with customers. This understanding drove me to dive into copywriting, where I could help bridge that gap. I’m Ebuka Duru, a passionate sales copywriter. I help small business owners craft compelling words that not only sell but also inspire action from strangers and boost sales through persuasive copy. Let’s connect and work together to build your business into something extraordinary!" #sales #smallbusinessowners

Would you do me a favor? It would mean a lot to me. And it could mean $900,000 to you. Let me explain ... I'm trying to grow my YouTube channel and I need your help. If you give me just 180 seconds, I'll give you a short script one of my clients used to put $900,000 in new sales into his pipeline. If you have at least 2-3 really good clients who don't hate you, and you can speak English, you can do this. By the way, that $900,000 in new revenue is from an existing client ... with $0 acquisition cost. Very high profit. All it took was a phone call and a meeting. So it's money that was hidden, untapped, in his business for years. What my client said was simple, brilliant ... and you can do it to. All you have to do is ask your top 2-3 clients 4 simple questions, which I will give you, if you do the following now: 1) Watch my latest YouTube video here - https://lnkd.in/gckEVCwH 2) Like the video 3) Subscribe to my YouTube channel 4) Comment "Done!" below. After that, I will DM you the questions my client used to put $900,000 in new revenue in his sales pipeline, simply by talking to one of his clients. No cheating, please. You will feel shame if you do. And Santa will leave dog turds in your stocking. Ready? Go! #salesandmarketing #b2bmarketing #retention

Your copy will significantly improve if you Implement it ✔ Put clarity first – Ensure your words are straightforward and resonate with your target audience ✔ Incorporate credibility – Your copy should feel authentic and make sense to the reader ✔ Maintain seamless flow – Your sentences should connect naturally and guide the reader smoothly ✔ Focus on building rapport – Don’t underestimate the importance of establishing trust with your audience ✔ Prioritize readability – If your copy isn’t easy to read, it’s as good as lost Not do's: ❌ Overusing jargon – Your audience isn’t a dictionary. Keep it simple ❌ Ignoring the CTA – Without a clear next step, your copy is just… words ❌ Writing to everyone – Trying to appeal to everyone means you’re resonating with no one ❌ Making it about YOU – Your audience wants to know what’s in it for them. .P.S.
