As the winter season continues, it's crucial to stay safe on the roads, especially when driving in snowy conditions. Here are 5 tips to help you navigate the snow-covered streets: 1. Slow Down: Reduce your speed and give yourself plenty of time to react to unexpected situations. 2. Maintain Distance: Never pass or approach too close to plow or road maintaiance trucks. Increase your following distance to at least 5-6 seconds to allow for extra stopping time. 3. Use Winter Tires: Equip your vehicle with winter tires for better traction on icy and snowy roads. 4. Clear Visibility: Keep your windshield, windows, and mirrors clear of snow and ice before driving. 5. Brake Gently: Apply brakes gently and avoid sudden maneuvers to prevent skidding.
