In many ways, AI technology has the potential to make people's lives better, but for that to possible, there needs to be a sense of trust. For instance, AI could be a boon for the customer experience, but according to a recent Gartner survey, 64% of customers would prefer that companies didn't use AI for customer service, with 53% saying they'd consider switching to a competitor if they found out a company was going to use the tech in such a manner. This disapproval largely stems from concerns surrounding jobs that might be lost due to AI, along with a belief that AI-powered customer service would make it harder to reach an actual person.
