Listen in on this podcast by Harvard Business Review on #disruptive #innovation. Common mistakes seen include failing to view disruption as a gradual process (which may lead incumbents to ignore significant threats) and blindly accepting the “Disrupt or be disrupted” mantra (which may lead incumbents to jeopardize their core business as they try to defend against disruptive competitors). https://lnkd.in/dYJztyrh

As someone deeply invested in staying at the forefront of industry trends, I found this discussion in Harvard Business Review's latest podcast episode extremely insightful. The intersection of emerging technologies and evolving consumer behaviors presents both challenges and opportunities for businesses. My tip? Embrace disruption as a catalyst for growth rather than a hurdle to overcome. Stay #agile, constantly seek out new ideas, and don't be afraid to experiment with innovative approaches. #Innovation #Tech #Trends

I just listened to the latest Harvard Business Review podcast, Innovation Doesn’t Have to Be Disruptive, and it was refreshing. We often associate innovation with radical, disruptive changes, but the episode somehow challenges that mindset. It highlights the power of non-disruptive innovation—solutions that create new markets without displacing existing businesses or jobs. Which I found absulutely great! This approach aligns more with sustainable growth by focusing on new opportunities rather than breaking down old systems. It really got me thinking: Could more companies benefit from aiming for innovation that uplifts rather than disrupts? Definitely worth a listen if you're curious about different paths to growth! https://lnkd.in/dxuguuhN

For the final episode of Fund/Build/Scale's first season, I sat down with repeat founders Dheeraj Pandey (Nutanix, DevRev) and Manish Chandra (Kaboodle, Poshmark). For more than an hour, we discussed some of the fundamental challenges founders must overcome if they hope to be successful over the long term. Some of the takeaways are below, but our conversation went well beyond basic best practices. We talked about how they learned to embrace paradoxical values, overcome feelings of isolation, stay in close touch with customers, and perhaps most critically, adapt to challenges. As Dheeraj said, "building a startup is a mental game more than anything else." I'd like to thank everyone who's backed Fund/Build/Scale, starting with Navin Chaddha and Kamini Ramani at Mayfield Fund and Rehan Jalil at Securiti. They've been great sponsors, and I'm deeply appreciative of their support! Season 2 starts soon, and I don't want you to miss an episode, so please subscribe!
