Solving Complex Groundwater and Remediation Challenges Utilizing Horizontal Drilling and Well Installation Technologies
One of the most common questions we get when discussing horizontal remediation wells for a specific project or during a brown bag is; “What does the IDW look like and how is it handled”. Most of the time we are drilling with a biodegradable (clay-free) polymer and the waste stream can be a slurry of up to 50% suspended solids. One way Ellingson-DTD manages the slurry is to place the material into a lined water-tight roll off container. At the end of the project, absorbent material can be added to solidify the waste for transport and disposal. #horizontalenvironmental #groundwater #contamination
