Marketing Manager bei WACKER Polymers

Waterproofing membranes are the perfect solution for wet rooms. They are available as one-component (1K) and two-component (2K) systems. What’s the difference – and which one should I use?   Well, if used correctly, both systems will give reliable results. However, with 2K systems, there’s always the possibility of mixing errors, which could lead to product failure in the long run. To avoid this, I would recommend a 1K system modified with a VINNAPAS® dispersible polymer powder: such systems are easy to mix and apply, and they create a water barrier that lasts a long time, even when it's under water pressure. What’s your experience with 1K and 2K waterproofing membranes? Which one do you prefer?   👉 For more details about the different systems, watch the whole video here: https://bit.ly/4cUFMl5 #waterproofing #construction #vinnapas
