Embracing Technology: My Journey to Using Calendly for Scheduling Meetings For a long time, I resisted using scheduling tools like Calendly, citing concerns like: ▪️Handing over control of my calendar ▪️Coming off as transactional ▪️Allowing random people to book meetings But the reality is, I still choose who gets my link and control my available time slots. It’s about enhancing communication with those I already have a relationship with, making it easier for us to connect. After procrastinating for years on this, a simple email request to reschedule turned into a two-week delay for me to get back to them. That was my wake-up call. Now, with my Calendly link, I can schedule meetings in under two minutes—no more juggling multiple emails and time slots. What seems like a small time savings (5-6 minutes) makes a huge difference in responsiveness and productivity. Key takeaways from this shift: ✅Technology can be leveraged in a non-transactional way. ✅When I find myself resisting or procrastinating, it’s a sign to rethink my approach or delegate the task. ✅Now I can tell my family and friends to find a time on my Calendy if they want to see me (jk). What best practices do you use for automated scheduling?
