Flying from KBVY Beverly to KPVD Providence, with only VOR system, with a flight plan that I created base on information from winds at different altitudes from both airports, since winds at different altitudes are not the same true course and magnetic heading will be different, therefore wind correction angle will be added to follow the correct course plus keeping in mind to follow the waypoints in the correct order.

📚 Can Performance Based Navigation (PBN) reduce the peak noise levels generated by arriving aircraft ? Discover about it on this trial - a first of its type in the UK - conducted by the London Gatwick team. 🇬🇧
Sometimes arriving aircraft fly lower and make more noise than we would expect. To try and tackle this, we started a six month Reduced Night Noise (RNN) trial in January. This is the first trial of its type in the UK, and aims to discover whether modern aircraft navigation procedures (flying within existing traffic patterns) can be used to reduce noise by: ➡️ Keeping aircraft higher for longer ➡️ Reducing engine thrust To stay informed, please visit our website where we regularly publish data on the progress of the trial: https://lnkd.in/dDHnMqq4

Dica Sempre Olhe por que Sempre algum está faltando LEARN the static dischargerTechnology 👇 - ⚡ It’s aircraft wing features the static discharge wicks made to dissipate the static electricity which builds up during flight. This happens by the friction created as the plane travels through the air and these wicks would then transfer the electricity back to the atmosphere. This is important to prevent interference with the navigation and communication radios⚡

Very interesting to verify that next generation Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) will be using quantum states to mock laser gyros and accelerometers ... However, INS boxes by nature (gyro stabilize platform plus accelerometers) always were autonomous, and as such, impossible to jamm or spoof.
Great to see an inovative solution to GPS jamming and spoofing issues. It could also change the way we use other systems like the radio altimeter and even the use of magnetic based navigation and radio navaids... what else could this new tech change? what do you think? https://lnkd.in/dYWzRBpR
