FDI: Brașov’s Come-Hither Look, and Maramureș in Hot Pursuit Brașov has charmed its way into Romania’s Top 5 for foreign direct investments (FDI), nudging Cluj aside like a seasoned flirt at a business mixer. Maramureș, not to be outdone, is racing up from behind, with FDI stock multiplying 28 times in a decade (who knew?). Mehedinți pulled off a stunning 150% FDI surge, while Vaslui’s numbers took a swan dive—down 51.6%.
