After my first week back in the financial industry, and at JPMorgan Chase, it truly feels like I’m back where I belong. Here are my initial reflections: 1️⃣ Rejuvenated by Innovation It’s incredibly energizing to be part of a team with such a strong focus on research and innovation. From the advanced technologies and models we use to the engaging coffee chats, lunch discussions, and tech demos, I’m surrounded by a culture that thrives on creativity and excellence. Being in an environment where everyone pushes themselves to be the best is inspiring. 2️⃣ A Leader in AI Research JPMorgan Chase leads the global AI index for research—and it shows. The sheer volume of high-impact research papers published by the AI Research team is remarkable. I feel privileged to be part of an organization that is constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with data and AI. 3️⃣ London: A Cold Yet Warm Welcome Returning to London has been a shock to the system (hello, snow in November!), but it’s been a wonderful experience reconnecting with old friends, meeting new colleagues, and settling back into life in the UK. Despite the weather, it’s great to be back in this vibrant city. I’m grateful to be part of a team and a company that sets the global standard for innovation in financial services. Excited for what lies ahead!
