We’re pleased to be leading the development of the 100 megawatt Winton North Solar Farm and 200MWh battery project. It’s located in central Victoria about 230 km northeast of Melbourne, and 22km southwest of Wangaratta and will generate enough clean #renewableenergy to power around 40,000 homes. The project will be built on a 300 hectare site and help create about 250 jobs during peak construction. Today’s announcement from the Federal Environment Minister of a green light for Australia’s largest solar farm is a bold step in seizing the power of the sun to make Australia a clean energy powerhouse. The Sun Cable Australia-Asia Power Link, a 12,000-hectare solar farm in the Northern Territory, will generate enough electricity to power three million homes.
