Simply because if I don't get out of my ivory tower, I could end up thinking in directions useful to neither man nor beast. Coming and walking around business shows such as this is an exercise in "evesdropping", or rather absorbing the vibes, peeping into the cares and concerns of the accounting service providers and finding out what solution-providers have come up with. It provides an insight into a world I left, but am still in some what involved in. The Accounting & Business Show Asia 2024 is one such show. It runs from 16 to 17 October 2024 in Singapore this year. From service providers to solution providers - they come to talk about their concerns, sell their wares. I try to drop by every year. This year - they asked if I would help "Spread the news" and I thought I would but when I found out (I do read the fine print!) that their marketing provider wanted permission to post on my social media - nah. I'll write my own rather than use their ready made one-click solution! So here is my write up - I'll be there to enjoy the vibes and pick-up on the ideas...Try it.
