Tri Service Safety Officers are the unique result of collaboration between services. They have now been saving lives and keeping people safe in Cornwall for a decade - providing a dedicated resource in rural areas where there was none before. On Friday the High Sheriff of Cornwall hosted a celebration of 10 years since the first TSSO passed out. Thanks for your service TSSOs (and Cornwall Council for the vid)! ⚕️ 👮 👩🚒 🥳

📢 O’Neill & Brennan UK were asked to carry out a presentation alongside Galliford Try, discussing the importance of 𝙋𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 & 𝙑𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 on site. 🚧 Our Health & Safety Manager (QHSE), Ailish Connolly and our Contracts Manager, 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗷𝗶𝗿 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶 carried out the presentation. Our Logistics Manager, 𝗝𝗼𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗶𝗱𝗮, carried out a safety demonstration with the Forklift Operator and Traffic Marshal, demonstrating the safe loading and offloading of materials. 👏 🙏 A very informative and constructive safety demonstration was provided by Galliford Try around the safeguarding of diggers. They had volunteers sit in the cabs so that they could see what the operator sees while operating the digger as their visibility can be obstructed. 👉 Click here to read more about our Health & safety policy: https://bit.ly/3CPxai2 #HealthandSafety #SafetyDemonstration #Presentation

Promoting safety is a universal priority that benefits everyone. Whether it’s in the workplace, at home, on the road, or in any other environment, ensuring safety is essential for protecting individuals and communities. By prioritizing safety for ourselves and others, we contribute to creating a safer and more secure world for all. Observing events like World Day for Safety highlights the importance of raising awareness, implementing preventive measures, and fostering a culture of safety in all aspects of life. TotalEnergies’ commitment to safety underscores the company’s dedication to protecting its employees, stakeholders, and the environment. Let’s continue to prioritize safety, advocate for best practices, and work together to create a world where everyone can feel secure and protected. #world_day_for_safety #TotalEnergies #safetyforall

It is officially National Road Safety Week. It is a week for us as a nation to pause and think about the lives lost on our roads and how we can reduce road deaths to zero. Try to reflect on your attitudes and behaviours this road safety week. Reflect on what I can do, what WE can do and what all of US can do. Make a plan to implement these attitudes and behaviours every day, not just during a week of heightened media attention. Road safety starts with every single one of us, but far too often, it is easier to blame other people. Take responsibility for yourself and the community, and choose road safety every day.
