If you want to learn how to build your business to have enough value to support your life, you're going to want to join us at The Startup Community's next event. #business #growthstrategy #entrepreneurialjourney #startupjourney
If you’re not building a business that can make enough money to support your life, WTF are you building for? Lead with revenue! Build lean! Don’t hire until you absolutely need to! We hear these things a lot as startups, but we still make mistakes when we’re building, and that we pay for with cash + lost revenue. Regardless of whether or not you plan to sell one day, early-stage startups that are serious about scaling need to tie almost every decision to their valuation goals. The Startup Community is committed to supporting our members' business growth. That is why we have Daniel Buelter, the owner of investors.Club, joining us on Wednesday. He’s going to break down: * the biggest mistakes he sees early startups make * how to set up your business for success * the one thing successful businesses have in common We’re giving you the chance to ask Daniel anything you want, so bring your business-building and valuation questions! RSVP at the link below. Most TSC events are private, but this one is open to the public. Feel free to share an invite with your entrepreneurial friends! https://lnkd.in/eiirDmRw #startupjourney #valuation #community #entrepreneurialjourney #growthstrategy #events
Welcome! You are invited to join a meeting: TSC Events: Scaling to Valuation with Daniel Buelter. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the meeting.

#investors #VCs #LPs and the like in my network - check this out! This event is set to have a few HUNDRED investors present; how often do you get to chat mostly with other investors, potential co-investors, etc all in one place? Great work Vasily Alekseenko for putting something like this together!
Founder @ Rare Founders 🦄 Investor 😇 Startup Founder and Investor community builder 🤝 LGBTQ+ 🏳️🌈 Creator of London’s Largest Demo Day 💸
On the 22nd of April 2024, in the heart of Mayfair, Rare Founders is set to redefine the usual post-accelerator #demoday by combining an investor and founder focused conference with London's largest demo day yet. Together with SeedLegals, we will be bridging panels, masterclasses, and talks created specifically for investors and founders; and all of that will be delivered while 100 pre-selected founders will be pitching to the audience of investors throughout the day. There is a significant amount of work that goes behind the scenes, and none of it would be possible without the support we have from the investor and founder communities. 38 investors (VCs, Angel Syndicates, Family Offices) have joined us to make this event happen. These investors are helping us to rate all the applicants so we can pick the top 100 who will be pitching on the day. In the coming days we will be posting about all our partners. This post is dedicated to putting a spotlight on the first 4 investors who showed us great support throughout this process: Swiss Post - Ivo Ronner Raw Ventures - Maria Zherebtsova and Alexey Skobelkin Hambro Perks - Sam Marchant Blue Lake VC - Lyubov Guk Check the slides below to understand what these investors look for. #investors, don't miss out on this amazing event. Join us to meet other investors, learn about the current trends, and spot the top most investable startups. See the link in the comments for more details.

Rare Founders Presents: London's Largest Demo and Pitching Day + Investor and Founder-focused conference London's largest demo Monday, 22 April 2 of Hyper's Founders have been selected to Pitch at the Investor & Founder Conference. (Check them out, Jamie Traynor DriveBox.App and Vish Burgul bndle) The conference has been created specifically for investors and founders + Witness 100 top-rated founders pitching to the audience of investors. Historically, demo day is a result of an Accelerator program where up to 10 founders get to pitch to a limited group of investors. Rare founders are taking this to another level, giving more visibility to 100 founders and flexibility to investors. This event is mainly investor-focused, but we will have enough value for a group of limited founders as well. About the event It's a combination of a demo day (at a much larger scale) with a content-driven conference for investors and founders. 2 pitching stages where 100 pre-selected founders (rated and selected by our 40 investor partners) will be split by industry and pitch to investors. Investors will be able to attend any industry-focused session that might be of interest to them. Pitching sessions will be very dynamic, in Dragon's Den style: 1 min + 1 slide + a few minutes for Q&A. Investors will get access to the details of all pitching founders before and after the event. 1 stage with investor-focused content. Partnered with SeedLegals, who will be creating the programme (round tables, panels, masterclasses) aimed at VCs, Family offices, Angel Syndicates, Institutional & Individual investors. Program and speakers to be announced soon. 2 stages with founder-focused content. All the content (presentations, panels, masterclasses, round tables) is designed for founders at pre-Seed to Series A stages. Program and speakers to be announced soon. A lot of space for networking where investors can meet other investors and founders. The last session of pitching/panels will end at 5 pm. At 6 pm, welcoming everyone back for a drinks reception for investors and founders to further network. There will open mic sessions where investors and founders will be welcomed to the stage to pitch to the audience for 1 min! Book your ticket here! https://lnkd.in/gWmj-wuB

Are you considering apply for VC Pitch Day 2024? Hear from Part3 co-founder, Jack Sadler who received funding through last year’s #VCPitchDay. Here’s what he has to say about the experience. Q. Can you give us your elevator pitch? Jack: Part3 is a platform that simplifies construction administration through automation and intelligence. We are a niche within a niche. Q. Can you share your experience participating in last year’s pitch event in Toronto? Jack: The event was great. The evening networking event before the pitch day was a bit of a surprise to me. It was really valuable as we got to mingle with other founders and all the investors and connect with a lot of other members of the ecosystem. I’ve stayed in touch with a lot of people I met at the event. As for the pitch day, it was great - it’s a much more intimate kind of event as opposed to a typical pitch event. Q. How has participating in the event impacted your business? Jack: As a direct result of this event, I received three offers to invest and participate in my seed round. I also had other referrals that led to other opportunities and investment. I met people I never would have met organically, which was fantastic. Q. What advice would you give to someone considering applying for this year’s event? Jack: There is nothing to lose and so much to gain. This is not your typical pitch event because it’s not built to be a competition that fuels an audience. It’s a meaningful event conducted with utmost respect for your time. Like the fact that you get 25 minutes with the investors means you can paint the full picture of your business and still get substantial Q&A time with investors. Q. What’s next for Part3? Jack: We’re going to keep growing. We have a big, ambitious mission to become the complete operating system for architects and engineers throughout the construction administration process. BDO’s #VCPitchDay gets scaling and emerging #tech companies in front of some of the top #VentureCapitalists in the country. Applications close Sep. 12, 2024, for Halifax, Toronto, and Vancouver, and Sep. 26, 2024 for Montreal. Apply now. https://lnkd.in/g7cbEetQ
