Just spotted something interesting in Meta Ads - they've added SMS verification for lead forms! (not for all accounts!) As someone who's dealt with their fair share of fake form submissions, this could be a great feature. Now when someone fills out your lead form, they need to verify their phone number first through an SMS confirmation code. Simple change, but it makes so much difference for us marketers. The only stipulation I have is the turnaround time for the code arrival. We all know that, when logging into the Meta account, we sometimes wait up to 5 minutes for a verification code.
