Hello, my dear readers. I hope you're in a cheerful pre-New Year mood. And if not, pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit by the fireplace. No fireplace? Then come to us! It so happened that we ended up with quite a cold room. Last winter, we barely managed to survive the chill, and this winter I decided to take heating the production space seriously. Unexpectedly, I discovered the potential within myself and my team for developing heating stoves. In short, making a "burzhuika" (a simple stove) wasn't interesting to us, so we instinctively began working on a gasifier (pyrolysis) stove. When we first started it up, we were pleasantly surprised by its efficiency and heat output. Right now, we're making the final adjustments and planning to bring the modified and refined design into production. The priority is versatility (the ability to use it as an air heating boiler, water heating boiler, autonomous power source with a steam turbine or external combustion engine, and maybe even more) and omnivorousness (the stove currently works perfectly on wood, chipboard, fiberboard, OSB, PET plastic, and may even work on tires and waste oil). Furnace Update ————————- I came to turn off my furnace, but it was already off! The powerstrip was tripped, so it wasn’t the breaker. It LOOKS like parts of it started melting, too. 🤔 I think, what I’ll do next time, is remove the dimmer switch, but I’ll KEEP the bulb! That should give it just enough Resistance, but I’ll re-add the switch if I fry the heating element. Furnace Update ————————- Well… it didn’t work, but I added a variable, in my haste to turn it off, & forgot to unplug the heating element before I exposed it to air. Which means I’ll have to cut ANOTHER heating element & try this exact setup AGAIN, to see the results & diagnose the problem. Did it not get hot enough, was still intact, & oxidized when I turned the pump off to let air leak in? Maybe. Was the amount of power too much & immediately burned out the filament? Maybe. These are vital questions that I CAN’T answer, because I turned the pump off before unplugging the furnace. So I’ve got to remember this setup again. *Greenhouse Lighting Tips* * If you use fluorescent tubes, rotate your plants once a week, so that everyone can bask in the light from the center of the tubes, where it’s stronger. ** Put a white coat of paint on your growing trays or lay down some tinfoil with the shiny side up to increase the amount of light your plants receive. *** When fluorescent tubes darken, replace them. You’re probably only getting about half the original light output anyway. **** Give your bulbs a rubdown once per month. You’d be surprised how much dust and dirt can cut down the amount of light available to your plants.

Evaporative Cooling Pad（ also known as evaporative media, humidifer, cooling pad, filter pad) is a humidifying module inside the machine. It's the core of evaporative air cooler (swamp cooler, desert cooler, evaporative air conditioning). It is also widely used as cooling wall for green house. Some AHU also use it as humidifying module. There are usually three wave heights of3mm, 5mm, 7mm, and the ripples are 60° x 30° staggered opposition and 45° x 45° staggered opposition. We call it 3090, 5090 and 7090 type. Generally, cooling pad is made of kraft paper. But for special project, there are also cooling pad made of special material, like organic pad or Glasspad with fireproof function.

Furnace Update ————————- Unfortunately, it happened as I feared it might & burnt out the heating element. I wired in 2 lightbulb sockets & I’ll include the 2 lightbulbs to kind of share the load & increase the Resistance; like I did before. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find 100 watt incandescent bulbs for less than $42.99; I am NOT paying that for lightbulbs!!! So I ordered 60 watt bulbs; they’re SUPPOSED to arrive today, but I’m still waiting! I also had to buy a new pump, because my pump keeps expelling oil into the chamber itself. Furnace Update ————————- Ok. Here it goes again. I THINK I’ve got this all wired up as the results I’m looking for needs, but I’m still giving it to Almighty GOD; so He can Allow it to work, if I’m as ready as He Wants me, or not. But I’m pretty sure it’s set up to work as it should. I have half of it plugged into ONE 110v outlet, & the other side of the circuit plugged into a DIFFERENT 110v outlet! And I’m using a 100 watt bulb, to get its Resistance. But maybe I no longer need the bulb, since my chamber is pulling a near perfect vacuum. 🤔🤷♂️ I guess we’ll find out on Sunday evening. Furnace Update ————————- *can’t get video to load* Ok, here we go again. When I plugged the other end of the furnace into the power strip, completing the circuit, the bedroom light flickered. That COULD be due to the power being suddenly diverted to the furnace when completing the circuit, that was quickly accounted for, or that could be been the power being diverted, then blowing out the heating element (overwhelmed) & returning to normal.
