This is no surprise. Upper/Middle Class Patients have almost plateaued, who wanted to fix the smile already did it. Also, aligners are seen as an aesthetic treatment, therefore a discretionary expenditure. And current economic environment isn’t helping in that sense. But while aligners will become more accessible and affordable, and the economy gets better, new starts will recover.
