**Six-Month Check-Up** Having relocated over 25 Heritage Olive Trees in the last few years, I have gained valuable insights and experiences. For instance, the 147-year-old olive tree we recently moved from San Juan Capistrano to Woodland Hills is currently in the process of settling into its new environment. Ensuring consistent watering is crucial during this period. Once you observe yellowing of the leaves, it's time to reduce the watering frequency. This watering cycle should be maintained for approximately 12 to 18 months to aid in the acclimatization process. Caring for these trees is like a delicate dance—one that is truly rewarding for those fortunate enough to be their caretakers. With the privilege of caring for these magnificent trees also comes great responsibility. Not only do these trees come with a significant price tag ranging from $7,000 to $35,000, but they also bring with them a transformative energy and rich history that enriches their surroundings. As caretakers, we play a vital role in preserving and nurturing these living treasures for future generations to enjoy.
