You can’t master cooking with shortcuts. You can’t perfect a dish without understanding the basics. No matter how many recipes you follow, if your fundamentals aren't solid, you won’t get the results you’re aiming for. Focus on building a strong culinary foundation first: - Fresh, quality ingredients over processed - Mastery of core techniques - Attention to flavors and textures - Time management in the kitchen - A clean, organized workspace Advanced techniques and creative flair only shine when your basics are flawless. 🍴The number one way to get better at anything? Start with the basics. We all start out as learners first, and that means you will generally suck (this is true even for us). You may not see it now, but back when we were just beginning, we were exactly where you are. We made mistakes, messed recipes up and were unsure where to start. Thats where learning basic kitchen skills came into play. While we used them to become chef's, they are amazing for growing in your home kitchen too. 🍴Here are 4 we teach about in Kitchen Basics. Which do you need help with most? Tell us in the comments. 1. Understanding Kitchen Tools and Equipment 2. Basic Cooking Techniques 3. Ingredient Knowledge 4. Meal Planning and Prep 🍴Want to learn more about jumping into Kitchen Basics with us? Comment COOK and we will send you the link to hop on the waitlist. #mealplanning #mealplanningmadeeasy #familymealplanning #healthymealplanning #cookingtips #healthycookingtips #cookingtips101

Cooking School versus Cooking Classes….what’s the difference? One of the most common questions I am getting is how does your virtual Cooking School differ from your virtual cooking classes? This is a great one. The biggest difference between my Cooking School and seasonal cooking classes is that the cooking school is designed specifically for the beginner cook or someone who feels like they really need to get back to basics to feel comfortable cooking in the kitchen. I can accommodate any level in my seasonal classes, but the Cooking School is paced perfectly for the cook who needs extra time and attention. My Cooking School is for the person who wants a comprehensive program with both the hands on cooking time and also the interactive group coaching sessions to cover things such as knife skills, cooking terms, kitchen tools, etc. My Cooking School is intentionally designed for just 8 members who want a full 8 sessions of content to be able to confidently cook a few easy, healthy, weeknight meals for themselves and their family. Cooking School kicks off on September 11th. If you are intrigued, please type “tell me more” in the comments. And if it’s not for you, maybe you know someone who could use my help. Please tag them in the comments. #cookingschool #virtualcooking #virtualevent #smallgroupcooking #smallgroupcoaching
