Reasons why emotional masks are worn: 1. Minimize or justify problems, or issues 2. Avoid thinking about the problems 3. Blame others for the problem 4. Refuse to talk about the issue or become defensive when the subject is brought up 5. Fill the void by pretending to be someone that we are not. #selfgrowth #selfcare #emotionalmasks #armempco #takeoffyourmask

Lifting something heavy? 🏋️♂️ Follow these tips to protect your back and avoid injury: 1. Keep the Load Close: Hold the object as close to your body as possible to reduce strain. 2. Bend Your Knees: Use your legs, not your back, to lift. Squat down, keep your back straight, and lift with your legs. 3. Avoid Twisting: Turn your whole body by pivoting your feet instead of twisting your spine. 4. Engage Your Core: Tighten your core muscles to support your back during the lift. 5. Lift Smoothly: Avoid jerky movements; lift slowly and steadily. Need more guidance? A physical therapist can help ensure your form is spot-on! #LiftingSafety #PhysicalTherapy #ProperForm #InjuryPrevention #TherapyPartners #DFW #HealthAndWellness #PTExperts #GreaterDallas
