Thursday's thought... Deb xx As we forge ahead with our plan of action, it's always worth building in some pause moments. These pauses give you a chance to stop and see if where your heading is still in the right direction or not. Taking yourself 'up and out' of the detail and looking in at it from above can give you a new perspective, which may send you down a better path. So take a step back and ask yourself some of these questions ..... 💡 Is what I'm doing going to get me where I want to be going? 💡 Am I utilising all of the resources I've got to get me to where I want to go or not? 💡 Who else can be involved in this? 💡 If I were to tap into my imagination, what else could I do? 💡 Am I spending too much/too little time focusing on one thing? 💡 When I put myself into the shoes of someone else, what new perspective might emerge? 💡 Do I need to adjust/reset my timeline? 💡 As a result of stepping back, what am I finding out, and what will I do now? . . #WishfishCoachingAndDevelopment #love #coaching #perspective #explore #wellnesscoach #wellnesstips #podcastshow #SecretsFromACoach

Monday's thought... Deb xx We make decisions every day, some bigger than others. So it's important to have a clear mind, know what your values are, be sure of what you will/will not compromise on, and trust yourself in knowing that what decision you take today is the best one for you and your future. Something that always resonates with me when faced with a dilemma is this - easy decisions can mean less angst today but lead to a 'harder' life further down the line. We can avoid making the right decisions for ourselves for a number of reasons, and this is where our B.R.A.I.N.** can help us. Whereas hard decisions taken today lead to an 'easier' life in the future with less angst, less stress, and less 'if only' as you were true to yourself today. ** B - What are the benefits of making this decision? R - What are the risks? A - What are the alternatives to consider? I - What's my intuition/instinct telling me? N - What if I did nothing? Thursday's thought... Deb xx We can act with intent and purpose, which means we have to come off auto-pilot and stop just going through the motions. Consider how you're going 'to be' as you start your morning. Will you 'be' grateful, happy, fulfilled, productive, ready, open, compassionate etc etc.....? The more optimistic, uplifting word/statement you choose, the more likely you go through your day in a better frame of mind. Which is what we all want, right? If we only focus on what's going to go wrong or that you're telling yourself it's going to be 'awful,' then guess what....it may well be. So, set yourself up for success with your intention statement and remind yourself of how you want 'to be'. It will give you more choice as to how you show up and respond, so you can choose wisely.
