This month, at Porter Novelli we made history with our first-ever global Jack and Bill Week of Service. All our offices worldwide united to make a significant #impact on our communities, from painting and cooking to beach clean-ups and packing food for food banks. These experiences empower us as a team and strengthen our commitment to social well-being and community development. Volunteering within companies is crucial because: -Enhances Teamwork: Participating in volunteer activities improves cohesion and collaboration among colleagues. -Promotes Social Responsibility: Companies can make a real difference in their communities by contributing to important causes and supporting local organizations. -Develops Skills: Volunteering isn't just about giving back; it's also about personal growth. It's an opportunity for employees to develop new skills and competencies outside their usual work environment. -Reinforces Corporate Values: Companies demonstrate their values and commitment to corporate social responsibility by engaging in volunteer activities. I want to thank all my colleagues who participated and the organizations we partnered with for making this week a success. 🌍💪 #Volunteering #SocialResponsibility #PNProud #JackAndBill #PorterNovelli
We’re #PNProud to have recently celebrated our first ever Jack & Bill Week Of Service. Across the globe our regional offices got out into the community to give back. From painting and cooking to beach cleans and food bank packing, it was an empowering and important experience. We would like to thank all our staff who participated and all the worthwhile organisations we worked with to make it such a successful week. #DoingBusinessBetter #PNDayofService #GivingBack

As part of National Reconciliation Week, the Winslow Group has launched its online Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Appreciation training. Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. As Australians, we can all be proud to be the home of one of the oldest continuous civilisations on Earth, extending back more than 65,000 years. Our Cultural Appreciation training course aims to increase employees’ awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their culture. Cultural awareness is a first step towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural competency, which refers to an ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. The focus of our training is to provide background and context, and then to move into appropriate behaviour from Winslow employees. Each person at Winslow is empowered to make good decisions to look after each other as family, be accountable to each other and be committed to operating safely. It’s the Winslow Way. #Winslow #TheWinslowWay #WinslowLearning #WinslowCommunity #NRW2024 #NationalReconciliationWeek2024

Ultimate Security Australia Joins the National RAP Conference 2024 to Strengthen Our RAP Journey At Ultimate Security Australia, we believe that reconciliation is more than a commitment; it’s a journey that shapes our culture, values, and purpose. This year, we are proud to participate in the National RAP Conference 2024 event, standing with communities and partners to advance meaningful change and unity. Our engagement in this event reflects our dedication to the Ultimate Security Reconciliation Action Plan - Innovate (RAP), focusing on tangible actions that bridge understanding, respect, and shared purpose between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. Why this matters • We strive to foster a workplace that champions diversity, equity, and respect. • Our RAP efforts aim to create opportunities for Indigenous employment, partnering with Indigenous businesses, and nurturing cultural awareness within our teams. • By participating in these critical events, we reinforce our responsibility as a leader in security, to protect not just people and places, but also the integrity of our community’s cultural landscape. Together, we look forward to the steps ahead and the partnerships and lessons that continue to enrich our RAP. Grim Warning from NTIA: Is This the End of UK Clubs? The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) has just issued a stark warning: UK Clubs could vanish by 31.12.29. With 37% of clubs gone since March 2020—3 clubs per week— 150 Clubs per year - if this trend continues, we’re facing the Last Night Out before nightclubs disappear from our culture forever. Clubs like Fabric, Ministry of Sound and SubClub are more than venues—they’re cultural landmarks that foster creativity, community, and the heartbeat of our cities. The NTIA has launched #TheLastNightOut campaign to fight back, calling for government intervention to save our nightlife. Without urgent action, we risk losing a vital part of our identity and economy. Sign the petition to support the cause, and let’s ensure 31.12.29 isn't the end... https://buff.ly/4dUs2WG #SaveOurNightlife #CulturalHeritage #LastNightOut #NightclubCulture
