Digitally transforming how companies design, manufacture & service their products

This The Wall Street Journal article highlights how smaller generative AI models perform nearly as well as the large ones, at a fraction of the cost. The key is focus the models on a “well-defined problem area and set of tasks”. This will definitely apply to how GenAI is applied to use cases for how products are designed, manufactured, serviced & operated. PTC has seen this with our generative design capabilities in Creo. There are also no brainer PLM use cases that this will apply such as parts rationalization, change management and processing field feedback. #GenAI #creo #windchill #servicemax
