Similarly, true value in an organization’s data emerges when we create a framework that allows information to flow seamlessly. While I’m not strictly advocating for data fabric, we need a system that facilitates this flow without resistance, unlocking real value and a fabric seems to do it or atleast give a way to create curved fabric to get value out. Super excited that today we finally released version 1 of Deep Space Actions! This has been a huge project of mine that I've been working on lately and I'm thrilled that it is now live. 🎉 Not only do we now deliver weekly emails of summarised insights, but I got to work on a whole lot of algorithms under the hood to create the Actions Engine powering this. Deep Space can now: 📩 Directly deliver actions to the right person's inbox without ever needing to log in, ⚡Automatically identify, create, track and close actions whenever data is updated, 📈 Track actions progress, when each action is notified, and who was notified for every data point for a complete audit trail. Here is some proof that the pipeline does actually get vector embeddings of size 768 along with the Sentinel-2 identifier in Pinecone. It was a neat little project, but I am sick of waiting for processing to debug and am calling it quits. Put the finishing touches on the repo here: https://lnkd.in/esGthrjD As noted, the results would have been rather uninteresting and unfun to play with compared to BigEarthNet or another curated dataset. Levelling up GDAL was really the goal here and in that regard, this project was a success. Looking for other data sources and models to hook up. Meta's tree canopy model looks cool, but that imagery is proprietary to Maxar.
