HR profession is one misunderstood profession.
After I left my 7yr employment as a HR,in the process of job hunting and self realization I came across a job that offered me not so much because it was a start up.
The employer was so enthusiastic being that they were looking for a HR and I presented myself.I accepted the offer since I had nothing at the time.Wait a minute, I remembered to ask for My JD.
To my surprise,there was no responsibility/duty that was aligning to the Hr functions.I was more of a receptionist 😅
