I mean you could have stated how competition over mined resources has and continues to fund wars, facilitates corruption, assists with money laundering, land disputes, pollution, forced relocations....and on and on ...but DSM won't stop that....so your point is??

Your point is? You're deliberately causing confusion to justify commercial DSM which is dishonest at best.
