I came across a quote recently that really resonated with me: “Practice occasionally what you plan to be average at. Practice consistently what you plan to be exceptional at.” This simple truth hit home. The journey to greatness requires more than talent; it demands discipline and relentless consistency. Want to be a better writer? Write consistently. Want to be a better teacher? Teach consistently. Want to be a better speaker? Speak consistently. Want to master the violin? Play it consistently. Whatever your passion or profession, consistency is the key. There’s no reward for mediocrity, but there’s a price to pay for becoming a professional. The question is: Are you willing to put in the work, even on the days you don’t feel like it? So, if you want to be a great speaker, start accumulating and sharing your lessons through real and authentic stories. The lessons you’ve lived through aren’t just for you—they’re your gift to share. When you tell your story, you inspire others to rewrite theirs and spark meaningful change in their lives.
