Innovation | Monopiles vibrate, shake and jet at test site at the Port of Amsterdam Article in Cobouw about Sustainable Installation of XXL Monopiles (#SIMOX) project. Vibrating technology can minimise damage to sealife when installing offshore wind turbine foundations, but certification is still lacking. A trial in the Port of Amsterdam brings this closer and paves the way for more innovations, such as simultaneous vibration, shaking and jetting.
