Air India has unveiled the fresh orders it placed for 10 A350 widebody and 90 single-aisle A320 Family aircraft. Besides, Air India has opted for Airbus’ Flight Hour Services-Component (FHS-C) for its growing A350 fleet. The services package will help optimize the performance and reliability of Air India’s growing A350 fleet. In 2023, the Tata Group-owned airline had ordered 40 A350 and 210 A320 Family aircraft. Air India’s total order book for Airbus aircraft now stands at 344 with six A350-900s having already been delivered. The A321neo is the largest member of Airbus’ best-selling A320neo Family and the A350 is the modern and efficient widebody aircraft and the long-range leader in the 300-410 seater category. Highlight for this Week? Air India Orders another 100 Aircrafts from Airbus. This would bring the total orders upto 570 Aircrafts(including 470 Aircrafts Orders placed on 2023). This Order had surpassed Indigo's 500 Aircraft Orders in 2023. It will be Interesting to see on how this aircrafts will be divided amongst AirIndia and Air India Express. Another Interesting thing would be With the Tier 1 Airports reaching it's capacity with less available parking space for Aircrafts, where will these Aircrafts Parked?
