The Head of Growth and Partnerships will play a pivotal role in capitalizing on these opportunities by developing and implementing comprehensive growth strategies. This includes enhancing customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, as well as expanding our market presence through strategic alliances that leverages our established technology competencies even as he helps to make it more robust.   His responsibilities within Fortis will be;   ·      Strategic Growth Leadership: Crafting and executing growth strategies that align with our long-term objectives and market opportunities.   ·      Partnership Development: Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key players in the fintech ecosystem, including government bodies, NGOs, financial institutions, and technology providers.   ·      Market Expansion: Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for both vertical and horizontal market expansion.   ·      Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensuring cohesive and effective execution of growth strategies across product, marketing, and technology teams.   ·      Data-Driven Decision Making: Promoting a data-driven culture and overseeing the implementation of analytics systems to inform strategic decisions.   ·      Industry Representation: Enhancing our visibility and reputation in the fintech sector through active participation in industry forums and events.   ·      Given the rapid pace of innovation in our industry and the critical need to catch up with our competitors, it is imperative that we have a dedicated leader to steer our growth initiatives and partnerships. The Head of Growth and Partnerships will not only drive our strategic vision but also ensure that we are well-positioned to seize new market opportunities and deliver exceptional value to our customers.    Requirements BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field MBA or Masters degree is an added advantage A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar role Experience with corporate strategy or planning, within a consulting firm or in the industry Experience with market entry strategy, market monitoring and analysis, corporate planning, business model development Strong understanding of complex business models and their tradeoffs to use as insight in shaping LoB’s long-term business model across different products Data-driven and automation-centric mindset to make key business decisions through critical thinking

#WeAreHiring Role: Business Development Executive - Treasury Years of Experience: minimum of three (3) years in the role  Report To: Head, Treasury and Asset Management Unit *Experience in financial sector of the economy, especially banks or finance/investment houses.* Objectives * To grow the company's earnings through the creation of quality assets and the generation of borrowings for the company. Core Functions * Primarily responsible for growing the company’s earnings through marketing and the generation of borrowings. * Maintain excellent client service for existing/goodwill accounts through good relationship management. * Draw and design a robust marketing plan for all staff attached to the team and ensure that individual targets are met. * Ensure appropriate pricing of our deposit liabilities and reporting to management the industry trends from time to time. * Involve actively in product review/development and design formidable strategies for penetrating into new markets. * Give a quarterly report of the current trend analysis / changes in the economy and advise the management from time to time. * Come up with appropriate, administrative, funding, and marketing structures of the investment function. This should provide room for feasible growth that will achieve the autonomy of this function. * Make submission on a weekly basis at management meeting or enterprise risk /  investment committee, MCC meeting on possible mandate for review and consideration. * Develop a robust marketing plan and strategy on a yearly basis. * Submit on a quarterly basis updated review of Marketing strategies and plan. * Write a weekly progress report on marketing efforts. * Submit a monthly report on achieved targets according to sector, product, etc. * Regularly assist the Unit Head, from time to time and proffer strategic solutions on how to strengthen the operation and improve efficiency. * Give a monthly report on new facilities and treasury consummated/generated by sector, product, average lending rate, and tenor to enable management make an informed decision. * Develop at least one (1) new product on a half-yearly basis. * Monitor government fiscal and monetary policies and advise the Management on their effects and strategies to hedge against them. * Recommend concessions on deposit rates, and communicate to Management all cost of takings/borrowings giving tenor and amount. * Undertake special assignments and ad-hoc activities as may be required from time to time by the Managing Director/CEO.
