🟢⚪🔴Gate Valves A gate valve functions by moving a wedge shaped disc obstructer up and down to open and close the flow path through the valve. This linear motion is provided by a threaded rising stem. Turning this threaded stem requires multiple revolutions (multi-turn) to travel from open to closed. The number of revolutions required is usually the valve size in inches x 3 + 2. So a 6 inch valve will require 20 turns of the stem [(6 x 3) + 2 = 20]. They should only be used for on/off applications as throttling for an extended period of time will damage both the obstructer and seals. Use of a gate valve for throttling is also not very effective since most of the reduction of flow will increase in the last 10% of closure. #valve #oilandgas #marketing #sales #networking

Micro-resistance Slow-closing Check Valve www.yoakor.com The micro-resistance slow-closing butterfly check valve is mainly composed of a valve body, two semicircular valve discs, a return spring, an oil storage cylinder, a slow-closing small cylinder group, and a needle valve (micro-regulating valve). Its principle mainly relies on the thrust of the imported medium to push the two valve discs open smoothly. At the same time, the imported pressure medium enters the lower part of the piston in the oil cylinder, pushes the piston, and presses the oil on the upper part of the piston into the tail ends of the small cylinders on both sides of the valve body through the needle valve, so that the piston rod in the small cylinder extends. When the pressure of the imported medium drops below the outlet pressure, the medium will flow back. At this time, the valve disc will automatically close under the action of the spring and the medium backflow. However, since the piston rod is in the extended position, the valve disc cannot be completely closed, and there is still about 20% of the area for the medium to pass through, which plays a role in eliminating water hammer. The valve disc is divided into two steps by the piston: first quickly closing and then slowly closing, which can prevent the motor from reversing and eliminate silence. #checkvalve

High Voltage Injection Test: Carry out 500V Meggar test between each stressed phase and all other phase connected to exposed conductive parts with all breakers in 'ON' positions. Apply 2.5kV AC voltage between each stressed phase and all other phase connected to exposed conductive parts for 60 seconds and measure the leakage current.
