Adopt a Tree: cultivating the future together 🌳 Behind our facility, a corner of nature hosts over 10 fruit trees; from ficus to apricots, plums, blueberries & many more. This small orchard has become the beating heart of our "Adopt a Tree" project. These trees have been offered for adoption to our employees, providing them not only with the opportunity to care for a tree but also with the necessary tools to manage it successfully. Each tree represents a special bond between nature and its caretaker, a concrete commitment to a greener and more sustainable future. This is more than just a corporate project. It is an opportunity to reconnect with our history and our territory, as this small green area allows us to rediscover the joy of seeing the fruits of one's labor grow. It is a way to show that even in our daily actions, we can make a difference and build a better world.

🍃We're thrilled to give you the inside scoop on one of TerraVenture's jewels - our Native Plant Gardens! 🌿These are not just pretty spaces, but play a shining role in our commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation. Creating a verdant haven with native species, these gardens serve as a remarkable learning platform for all our visitors. Interact with various plants and learn about their unique role in boosting biodiversity, maintaining a balanced ecosystem and preserving local heritage. Fostering these gardens supports community premises of eco-education and unbroken biodiversity. Nurturing native species avoids the risk that comes from exotic varieties - such as ecological imbalance and potential invasive characteristics. Moreover, these gardens act as sheltered 'homes' for several local pollinators, fortifying the great web of life. But why does this matter to you? Well, simply put, every plant in our Native Plant Gardens is a small but powerful player in the fight against climate change. They absorb CO2, replenish the air with oxygen, and also provide natural cooling - a sustainable solution to combating rising temperatures.🌍 Being part of TerraVenture’s green revolution means embracing the concept of living green, in every sense of the term, and our Native Plant Gardens are a perfect example of that ethos. 5Cs of Sustainability are Consciousness | Conservation | Community | Commerce | Culture. They are deeply interconnected – one cannot have optimal impact when out of balance with another – and they frame the holistic and harmonious approach to all that we do.

COLLABORATION: THE POWERHOUSE OF CHANGE Sometimes a positive story comes up that just blows your mind. Why is THIS story so amazing? 1. It shows the all-conquering power of positive, collective collaboration across all community sectors. Importantly this included the local government. 2. Normally it's younger generations that encourage change while the elders stick to their conservative ways. In this case all generations on the island supported the changes. 3. New industries have been developed that enable the changes to remain in place in the long term. 4. The entire population of the island, including its wildlife on land and sea, have benefited. In other words biodiversity has been protected. We can all learn from this story. What are your thoughts?

Fostering a sustainable culture? what does that mean exactly? Well, it starts with small gestures within our own lives; everything from recycling to cycling, every little effort helps. For us it means reminding ourselves and our teams, that every action must have a positive intention, that supports our communities and contributes towards a sustainable tomorrow. We want to make sustainable practices part of our business in every way, every day. That's why we have kicked off our sustainable and revitalisation mission to invest with every consultant that joins our Australian and New Zealand teams. As part of this investment in carbon locking and revitalisation, is working with local our partners in the Widgewah Sanctury breeding and recovery program for the Southern Brush-tailed Rock Wallaby. The project will help create a habitat aimed at bringing this vulnerable species back from the brink of extinction. Thanks to our team and our growth this year we have already planted over 60 trees in the area, with more planned for later this quarter. So far we have: - Planted 60 trees - Restored 600m2 at Widgewah Sanctuary - Removing 13 tonnes of Co2 Check out the details of our project here - https://lnkd.in/gaaSY-it You can learn more about our work by getting in touch info@projectadvisory.group

Are Urban Beehive Rooftops the Future of Corporate Sustainability? I recently had the opportunity to visit a friend's urban beehive during harvest season. There, I experienced the joy of harvesting my own jar of pure, preservative-free honey, directly from the hive in the middle of Brooklyn, New York. This encounter was not only sweet in taste but also rich in learning about the critical role bees play in our ecosystem. 🐝 Why We Need Bees: The decline in bee populations is alarming and largely stems from a lack of awareness about their importance. Bees are essential for pollinating the food we eat; without them, our ability to grow and harvest food would be severely compromised. Interacting closely with these creatures, I was reminded of their gentle nature and the symbiotic relationship we can share when we approach them with respect and care. 🏢 Green Rooftops in Urban Landscapes: In the face of urban expansion, finding ways to coexist with essential ecosystems has never been more important. Integrating green rooftops and urban beehives provides a dual benefit: it utilizes otherwise empty urban spaces and contributes positively to our environment. This initiative is particularly pertinent for businesses seeking to enhance their sustainability efforts and corporate social responsibility. Corporate involvement in environmental initiatives like urban beehives not only aids in the conservation of crucial pollinators but also promotes a healthier, greener workplace. Imagine the benefits of fresh honey and a biodiverse rooftop garden in your corporate offices—enhancing the well-being of employees and demonstrating a commitment to sustainable practices. 🌱 My Commitment: While I aspire to manage my own beehive in the future, I am currently focused on educating myself and others, making sustainable choices, and advocating for initiatives that support our environment. I encourage other businesses to consider how they might also contribute to these sustainability efforts. By supporting and implementing sustainable practices like urban beehives, we can ensure a healthier planet and a thriving business environment. 💛 https://lnkd.in/e2-Zs-Dd
