The Age Of AI. 2024 into 2025, we're now entering the greatest change cycle since the industrial revolution. The development of new-age industries. The Age of AI. The bankers are alive from past experience of the "Auto Industry, that this is not a time to buy more cows or more horses." This is a time to invest in new-age enterprises.
𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 — 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘? The impact of tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot is undeniable! They’ve completely redefined how we code, turning AI into an indispensable "co-pilot" in software development. Last weekend, I picked up "𝗔𝗜-𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴" and took a deep dive into its insights. Let me just say: This book is going to be a staple on my desk for the next months to come. 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠: It starts with a solid introduction to AI-assisted programming and presents a practical prompt strategy to use AI tools effectively. Then, it applies this strategy to real-world projects: ➤ A very comprehensive web development project, from frontend to backend ➤ Data science and machine learning, showing the versatility of AI ➤ Finally, it explores the future of AI agents and how they could further accelerate software development. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲: - The book is super practical and hands-on: You learn by building small, realistic projects with provided data/datasets. - Beginner-friendly: Even if you’re just starting with AI-assisted programming, the explanations are clear and avoid jargon overload. - Up-to-date insights: References are fresh (2023-2024), and the authors commit to keeping it relevant. For me, the concepts were easy to follow and always nicely introduced. The book could be very useful for beginners or those without extensive development experience. If you’re familiar with the basics, you’ll have no trouble keeping up. At the same time, intermediate developers will likely discover plenty of new strategies and approaches to enhance their skills (main audience here are developer and data-scientist I would say). 𝗜 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝘆. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱. 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. You can get a copy on Amazon: https://lnkd.in/eBNtQHHZ --- I’ll be sharing more up-to-date AI books I come across in the future. I’ve been reading a lot lately, and it’s clear how much of a difference a well-structured book can make in streamlining the learning process (I also believe this could help many others). If you’re publishing in the future, feel free to send me a DM or write your recommendations in the comments!
