By loading cars vertically into specially designed railcars, this innovative method maximized space efficiency, allowing up to 30 cars per boxcar compared to the conventional 18, ultimately reducing freight costs by up to 40%. 𝗚𝗠 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 spearheaded the development of the Vert-A-Pac, implementing unique oil baffles to prevent spills, customized carburetors and batteries, and plastic spacers to safeguard the powertrain during transit. This pioneering approach not only ensured cost savings but also guaranteed the secure delivery of vehicles, marking a significant milestone in car transport efficiency. The Vert-A-Pac stands as a testament to 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, showcasing how 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and out-of-the-box thinking can lead to groundbreaking solutions that revolutionize logistics and drive cost-effectiveness. #Innovation #Transportation #AutomotiveIndustry

We're thrilled: The new MAN eTruck, first limited edition suitable for long-distance transport for 2024, are already nearly sold out! We have received 700 orders and enquiries for the MAN eTGX and MAN eTGS. The modular concept battery is one reason for the strong demand because it ensures optimisedbody mounting and deployment planning. The daily range of up to 800 kilometres and our 360-degree eMobility Consulting are further arguments behind this. We are delighted with the success of our MAN eTruck right from the start! Future roadmap aims for half of all new MAN trucks delivered in Europe to be fully electric by 2030. For this goal to become a reality as part of the decarbonization of freight transport, industry, politics and administration must pull together to expand the charging infrastructure. 💪🏼 ➡️ Click here for the full article: https://go.man/HVf8ZKGr #MANTruckAndBus #MANeTruck #Decarbonization #MANeTGX #MANeTGS

E-mobility is key to transitioning to more #sustainable transport. Our global #TRATONGROUP experts, like Bo Andrén, Engineering Director Battery Development at Scania Group, collaborate to advance battery #technology for heavy-duty commercial vehicles, ensuring a seamless adoption process. Continuous innovations in battery development and #ChargingInfrastructure give battery-#ElectricVehicles a clear edge over alternative drives. Our Group brand Scania has pioneered all-electric and hybrid vehicles since 2017, with around 2,000 units in operation by 2023. In 2020, Scania introduced a 29-ton #truck powered by nine batteries. Today, the 64-ton truck uses just six batteries to deliver 624 kilowatt-hours, compared to 330 kilowatt-hours previously. This leap in efficiency highlights our advancements in #BatteryTechnology – and shows what will be possible in ever shorter development cycles Together, we are driving the future of #transportation towards a cleaner, more efficient reality. 🚛🔌 Discover more about the e-developments of our other brands MAN Truck & Bus SE, Navistar Inc and Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus here: https://rb.gy/yw06p5 #TransformingTransportationTogether #TRATONElectrifies #EMobility #SustainableTransport #Innovation
