That's because top-down solutions rarely empower those they're meant to serve. At RCI Academy, we're flipping the script. We're not just talking about community capital; we're putting it directly into the hands of the people. Think of it as economic democracy in action. We're partnering with Democracy Centers to bring community capital to dozens of underserved communities, igniting a grassroots movement that's fueled by collaboration and driven by results. This isn't about charity; it's about building bridges to economic power. We're connecting activist organizations and social entrepreneurs with the strategic resources they need to create lasting change.

Reflecting on this historic day, our CEO Darrell Byers shares his thoughts on the significance of #Juneteenth and the journey towards economic equity: “On Juneteenth, we celebrate not just the end of slavery but the ongoing journey towards true freedom and economic empowerment for all.
