Why is the #Auto🚗 industry so interested in #eVTOLs?✈️ or #electric #airTaxi It is fascinating to observe how major #automobile manufacturers are collaborating with #startups developing eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) vehicles. For instance, Toyota Motor Corporation’s partnership with Joby Aviation (USD390 million investment), a company in my opinion with one of the most advanced products in this field. The question could be what are these large manufacturers seeing in this new industry, which of course has a high risk? just look at what has recently happened with Lilium (an amazing startup with a 💡disruptive technology). Below is a list of these alliances🤝: Toyota with Joby Aviation Stellantis with Archer Porsche AG with Eve Air Mobility(Embraer)  Daimler and Geely with Volocopter Hyundai with Supernal Denso with Lilium (despite its recent announcement of bankruptcy) #greenMobility

The three reasons why Toyota is not called Toyoda (the name of the founder). 1 - Distinction: they wanted to separate the family name and the company name. 2 - Sound: Toyota has a stronger sound than Toyoda. 3 - Strokes: in Katakana, Toyoda is written with 10 strokes, while Toyota (トヨダ) is written with 8 strokes (トヨタ ). Once a Toyota, always a ____________. The machine that changed the world is not really a machine, it is the imperfect people that made up the company with culture of continuous improvement and respect for people. Toyota Way is a culture that molded Toyota Talents, Talents that commit errors but given opportunities to improve them. Even if you remove the talents if the culture is intact, you will be producing more talents that were embedded with the culture (of continuous improvement and respect for people -for Toyota).
