Solving a Case Study in Excel-4
Case Study:
Alia's Birthday party planning? She had invited her colleagues and their families to celebrate with her. Alia made a spreadsheet to estimate how much of each item would be needed. Let's use some basic formulas to help her update her spreadsheet to ensure food does not fall short!
Task 1
Ishan's cousins are visiting and they will join the start of the party. Alia wants to account for 4 guests under Ishan for appetizers, and allocate 2 appetizers per person for each appetizer type.
Task 2
Neil's college friends are in town and some of them know Alia from school! Alias can't wait to see them again. That's a total of 8 guests including him!
Under Neil we now need:
2 items per guest from the Appetisers category.
3 items per guest from the Main category.
4 items per guest from the Dessert category
How-To:
Task 1- Use a formula "=4*2" to change the values in the cell range B5:B8.
Task 2- Change the cell range G5:G9 =8*2
Change the cell range G10:G15 =8*3
Change the cell range G17:G21 =8*2
