Friday baby- how do you walk in to a Friday? Draggin? Energized? Curious? Surviving? I usually put music on Friday while I'm getting ready, just to get things rolling, and invariably my gym playlist comes on. I've got a few songs that can ONLY be listened to at the gym, because they can make me feel absolutely invincible. This one though.... when it gets put on, everyone knows someone is doing something they've never done, what people told them wasn't possible, or something just insane. It's like the bat signal, everyone drops what they're doing and we're there for that lifter. Spotting, cueing, whatever is needed. It's our call to action. What's your teams call to action? A song? A speech? A bell? Whatever it is, keep it sacred. Many will think you're crazy, but this is a piece of culture that can literally drive organizations to dizzying heights when done right, or become "just another thing" if you do it wrong.
