Doing hard things 002: On Procrastination Let's be honest, who hasn't fallen victim to the allure of "I'll start soon?" As a designer, I often find myself filled up with creative ideas. But translating those ideas into action? That's a whole other story. This week, for example, my goal was to draft my portfolio website based on an idea I came across yesterday. Yet, here I am, writing this post instead. The culprit? Procrastination. Deadlines I set for myself often feel more like suggestions. I convince myself there's always time to "extend" them. But, again and again, that just leads to a backlog of unfinished projects and a pestering sense of guilt. This week on doing hard things, I'd love to hear from you!
