It's great to see the impact studies we prepared for the Global Biodata Coalition featuring in their latest newsletter. I also love the fact that these narrative resources figure alongside a compelling quantitative study: over 780,000 scientific papers—representing 17% of all life and biomedical sciences literature—cite these essential biodata resources. This work illustrates the value of combining qualitative and quantitative evidence in research communications and advocacy work. Some people are influenced more by stories and human interest, others want hard data. Put the two together and you start to get something really impactful. #Bioinformatics #DataScience #ScientificResearch #LifeSciences #BiodataAnalytics #ResearchImpact
