A #research team conducted focus group interviews with faculty and staff at the Mongolian University of Science and #Technology (MUST) and developed a new gender equality index to ascertain the status of gender equality in the country’s higher #education institutions. The study found that #genderequality among MUST teachers, staff, and students was above average, but it needed improvement in #management councils and #leadership positions. It proposes strategies to enhance gender equality at the student, teaching staff, and #governance levels. 🟠 READ https://buff.ly/3VSBXqa #SDG4 #SDG5 #SDG10 Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center, Ankhbayar Begz (Paul Anka), Christine Min Wotipka, Risako Ninomiya, Jieun Song

As part of the EDUC-WIDE project, and specifically within the framework of Work Package 5, we had the opportunity to participate in Gender Equality Workshop at Masaryk University in Brno. The workshop featured insightful presentations on: • Ethical governance from a gender perspective. • Integrating gender into teaching and research activities. • Data analytics tools to assess the gender dimension in Open Science. • Implementing Gender Equality Plans in Research: Navigating the Ukrainian Context – an opportunity to share Ukrainian practices and challenges. The event was enriched by productive discussions and knowledge-sharing, bringing together experts and representatives from across the EDUC alliance. We’re excited to bring these insights back to Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and take the next steps toward developing and implementing effective best practices. Collaborating with the EDUC alliance provides invaluable support in advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity within our institution. #GenderEquality #EDUCWIDE #ResearchCollaboration #Innovations #EDUCAlliance

A gender analysis is the starting point for gender mainstreaming. This is one of the highlights from this handbook. 📍 Why I like this handbook? 1. It defines the concepts ('gender transformative', 'intersectionality' etc.) 2. Provides practical approaches 3. Consolidates knowledge on gender mainstreaming, and highlights promising practices for implementation. 📍 Who is the document for? Development practitioners, policymakers, gender focal points, and technical managers seeking to incorporate gender equality into their work systematically. Did you like the post? 😍 If yes, you will also like the tons of other resources in my Academy and my monthly workshops. 👉🏾 Join the Academy here: https://lnkd.in/epqEsMF6 🔥 #GenderAnalysis

My first official certification in finance. 🥳 Commodity responsible budgeting represents the introduction of gender equality in the budget process, which implies a gender analysis of the budget and the restructuring of income and expenditure with the aim of improving gender equality. 🙂 As a master's student, I believe that this topic should be revived in society. 🫂 I believe that Professor Marija Vuković provided us with new knowledge in this area in an adequate way. 😃 #certificate #post #gender_responsible_budgeting #business_school

Exploring Gender Equality and Justice Through a Gandhian and Psychological Lens I had the privilege of presenting a paper titled "Issues and Challenges Related to Gender Equality and Justice: Gandhian Perspective with Psychological Insight." This work delved into the enduring relevance of Mahatma Gandhi’s principles in addressing gender disparities and achieving social justice. Combining Gandhian philosophy with psychological insights, the paper highlighted the deep-seated cultural and systemic barriers to gender equality and proposed practical approaches to overcoming them. By emphasizing empathy, non-violence, and constructive dialogue, the research advocated for holistic and inclusive solutions to foster equality and justice in society. This experience further enriched my understanding of the intersection between psychology, social reform, and human rights, reinforcing my commitment to contribute meaningfully to societal progress.
