Engaging with nature is a big part of people’s travel experiences - visiting beaches, seeing wildlife and exploring local landscapes can be the most memorable part of a holiday. Travel companies have a role to play to protect nature and biodiversity in the destinations they operate in. In a column for TTG Media Carol Rose, Head of Sustainability at ABTA shares how we're helping members understand more about biodiversity and travel, and what they can do to support it. This includes attending ABTA’s free-to-attend biodiversity workshops for members. The last two workshops are coming up and members can still register. Register for 3 and 11 December workshops here: https://ow.ly/77Wf50UhmyI The final workshops will be showcasing real life examples from travel companies and destinations including Travelopia and Exodus and Barbados Environmental Conservation Trust on how they have developed their business case and formed partnerships to protect nature.
