Client: "I need this project completed in 15 days; I don't have any extra time." Working with some clients made us question our approach, but we realized that the quality triangle is the key: you can only choose two out of quick, cheap, and high quality. It doesn’t work all three ways. Quick and Cheap: The quality may suffer. Quick and Best Quality: It will likely be expensive. Cheap and Best Quality: It will take more time. I hope balancing these factors is the key to successful project delivery. No surprise there 😏. Aligning dreams with reality is much easier said than done. Here’s how we can keep things smooth and our clients nodding along happily: Communicate clearly 🗣️ Right from the start, lay it all out; what can be done, when, and the possible hiccups. Transparency makes everything easier. Educate as you go 🤓 Ever had to explain why you can’t rush creativity? Educating clients about the process in detail (without getting too crazy with the jargon) helps demystify our work and set realistic timelines. Be real 💯 Talk about risks and hurdles openly. It’s better to discuss potential issues upfront than scramble for explanations later. Watch for scope creep 👀 It’s easy to let 'just one little change' snowball.
