What I Learned from Hosting My First Online Class on Free AI Productivity Tools: A few weeks ago, I took a leap and hosted my first online class about how to use free AI tools to improve productivity. Here’s the kicker: I didn’t market the seminar at all. Despite this, I had 30 sign-ups and 10 attendees—and all 10 stayed engaged for the full 30-minute session! Here’s what this experience taught me: 1) Interest in AI is skyrocketing Even with minimal promotion, the topic resonated with people. It’s clear that many individuals, from professionals to entrepreneurs, are eager to learn how AI can simplify their work and save them time. 2) You don’t need to know everything to share value I’ll admit, I’m no AI expert. But even with a basic understanding of free tools, I was able to provide value to those who were complete novices. Sometimes, knowing a little more than your audience is enough to make a meaningful impact. 3) Engagement > Numbers It wasn’t about how many people showed up but the fact that the attendees stayed fully engaged throughout the session. That told me the content was relevant and worth their time. This small step reminded me how important it is to just start, even if it feels like you’re not ready. Sharing what you know—even if it’s just the basics—can inspire and help others take their first steps too. I’m already thinking about hosting another class and diving deeper into this topic.
