Homeschooling during the pandemic has been a unique journey for my family. My kids are efficient and can knock out their schoolwork in just a few hours, leaving us with a lot of extra time on our hands. The big question was: How do we keep them engaged and learning when the schoolwork is done? We know that if we're not proactive, it can lead to issues. So, we got creative! We discovered the joy of exploring new hobbies, science experiments, and family projects. Homeschooling may have presented challenges, but it also opened doors to amazing moments with our kids. 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝟯𝟬: 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝘆 🌟 Today’s walk was all about reconnecting with my 𝘸𝘩𝘺—the reasons driving me to complete this challenge and to pursue homeschooling. So, why am I doing this challenge? First, it’s a test of my own discipline. It’s been a long time since I’ve started something with a commitment to see it through, and I want to prove to myself that I can finish what I begin. Second, I’m doing this to reclaim my health. After postpartum, getting active again feels like giving myself a gift—a reminder of my own strength. And why homeschooling? Because it gives me the freedom to choose what and how my child learns, making space for curiosity, creativity, and character building. It’s about shaping an education that’s as unique as she is. Today’s walk reminded me: there’s so much power in knowing our reasons. They’re what keep us moving forward on the tough days, and what make the good days that much more meaningful. 💪 What’s your “why” that keeps you going? #Day11of30 #MotionAndMentorship #CharlotteMason #ParentingJourney #HomeschoolingInKenya #Homeschooling

Two best decisions of my life: marrying well and homeschooling my kids. While many were skeptical at first, my spouse and I found homeschooling to be an enriching experience, fostering a unique bond between us and our children. It allowed us to instill core values, nurture individual learning styles, and cultivate curiosity. Marrying well, that's all about choosing a partner who brings out the best in you. Someone who believes in your dreams, celebrates your victories, and challenges you to grow. It's about building a life together, rich in love, respect, and mutual support. These choices aren't for everyone, but they were the right ones for me. Life isn't a one size fits all journey, but a path we carve for ourselves, guided by our values and aspirations. Interesting in embracing the homeschool journey? Let's chat and explore the options for learning. I would love to hear your stories and answer your questions below. #Dyslexia #Homeschooling #HomeschoolLife (My first try at an AI-generated image below. Weird, but I decided to keep it for the fun of it.)

The Real Work of Homeschooling Isn’t What You Think 🌱 When we first begin homeschooling, it’s easy to get wrapped up in choosing the perfect curriculum or planning the perfect routine. But the real, impactful work often goes beyond that — it’s the inner work we do as parents. Here’s what really makes a difference: ✨ Inner Work & Emotional Health: The hardest challenges often stem from within. Addressing our emotions, past experiences, and stress can create the peaceful environment we want for our kids. ✨ Emotional Awareness: Understanding our feelings reduces stress and helps us be more present. When we acknowledge our emotions, we model self-awareness for our kids. ✨ Community Support: A trusted community is gold. We all need a safe space to share, shift perspectives, and stay encouraged. ✨ Mindfulness & Thought Management: Simple practices like reframing our thoughts help reduce stress and create a healthier homeschool atmosphere. ✨ Redefining Success: What is homeschool success for you? I don't believe it's primarily about academics; it’s about connection, growth, and purposeful living. Homeschooling is a journey of self-discovery for us and our children. If homeschooling feels overwhelming, I'm here to support your personal growth. #homeschooling #homeschoolmom #homeschoolhelp #homeschoolcoach #homeschoollifecoach #homeschoolsupport #confidenthomeschool https://lnkd.in/gnf5TCaD

📚 Fun Fact: Did you know that homeschool moms spend an average of 6-8 hours daily teaching and preparing lessons? That’s like working a full-time job! 💬 Affirmation: "I am a dedicated teacher and a vibrant individual outside of homeschooling." It’s easy to pour so much into homeschooling that we forget we’re more than just teachers. Taking time for hobbies and passions that aren’t tied to homeschooling is essential for staying energized and fulfilled. 🔑 Lesson: Make space for YOU: 🎨 Pick up an old hobby or try something new. 🏋️♀️ Dedicate time for fitness, art, or reading—whatever lights you up. 👩👧 Inspire your kids by showing them that lifelong learning and fun never stop! ✨ What’s one hobby you’d love to revisit or start? Let’s encourage each other! #HomeschoolMomLife #BalanceAndBoundaries #HomeschoolMomBaddie #MoreThanATeacher

🎓 I hear so much conjecture about homeschooling from people who don’t realize their mindset is confined to the limitations of a traditional school model. 🏫 To homeschool effectively—and enjoyably—parents first need to break free from the ways their understanding of education has been molded by systems that prioritize control and limitations over opportunities and growth. 🚪✂️ Homeschooling, more than any other form of education, offers the freedom and flexibility to craft the experience your children want and need for the 21st century. 🌍✏️ It’s about creating an education that prepares them for real-life success, not just test scores. Need help breaking out of the box? 📦✨ Comment HOMESCHOOL below, and I’ll send you a value-packed resource to help you get started—completely free! 🎁 Trust me, you’re going to love the education you can gift to your children and the incredible memories you’ll create along the way. 💡👨👩👧👦" #HomeschoolingFreedom #EducationRevolution #ParentLedEducation #LearnWithoutLimits #FlexibleLearning #BreakTheMold #HomeschoolJourney #21stCenturySkills #HomeschoolSupport #RethinkEducation #HomeschoolWins #FreedomToLearn #HomeschoolLife #IntentionalParenting #ParentsKnowBest #CustomEducation #FamilyFirst
