These are two different roles rolled into one: - Visiting clients for all our new projects with the objective of selling a secondary project - Conducting project inspections to assess progress and identify potential issues or obstacles, promptly reporting them to the appropriate parties Here's some food for thought: - If the initial consultation was done correctly, you wouldn't need to go back for the upsell. - A sales rep is there to add to the profit line - An inspection is there to ensure the project is completed properly Focus on finding an excellent seller/closer at the start. Then hire an inspector to ensure you have quality projects. This sales rep x project manager inspector unicorn does not exist.
