The Skills for Success model divide problem-solving into 6 components: • Identify the issue. Is it familiar or new, simple, or complex? • Gather information. What are the facts? • Analyze the issue. • Identify different possible actions you could take. • Address the issue. • Evaluate the effectiveness of the solution or decision. What an honor to co-facilitate a Training of Trainers (ToT) with my friend and well polished speaker Tahinduka Joshua. I am looking forward to meet great minds in the land of a thousand hills (Rwanda) as we transform trainers into becoming effective facilitators. When Inspired Resource Centre & Consultancy Limited teams up with Elevate Training Solutions, the results can only be exceptional. You can not afford to miss this. As Confucius said "What I hear, I forget. What I see, I remember. What I do, I understand." Learning in a second language is hard enough, use these tips to ensure your training sessions produce results. Learning in a second language is hard. You could spend a lot of energy translating the words before you even get to understanding the message and beginning to learn. And if the trainer just plows ahead with the topics your audience can fall behind or worse just begin mentally tuning out. I discussed some best practices in an NBT Talks: LIVE! session yesterday. https://lnkd.in/gJEJhpev Let me know what you think. What would you add? By the way, what do you think of my live sessions? *** I'm Adam, I help leaders execute their vision with learning strategies and trainers themselves to design, develop and deliver programs. 📌Ring the bell on my profile for daily training tips 📂Explore all the NBT offers in my featured section 📱 Curious how training can impact the KPI's that matter to you? The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn. - Alvin Toffler - Our faculty of trainers on their train the trainer programme conducted by Harshana Dassanayake - DAASH Consultancy & Training. I attended the advanced training for trainers recently and met some amazing people. The bulk of the training time was focussed on how we present and how to plan training. What we learned from Vince Stevenson Trainer and Executive Speech Coach was useful and well-balanced between information giving and interactive exercises including presentation filming and feedback. My only disappointment was that I had understood there would be more on planning and getting buy-in to learning opportunities. #Training #Trainers #PresentationSkills #LearningOpportunities #Feedback #InteractiveExercises https://lnkd.in/ep8R4Ef2

Are you testing skills or just teaching for tests? 🧐 As a trainer, it’s essential to ensure your learners are mastering the skills—not just passing tests. Even soft skills, like public speaking, can be measured! Ask your trainees to recall key points after a practice run. If they can’t, it’s time to refine your approach. Ready to elevate your training? Where do you stand? Lot of emphasis given on goals and what needs to be done. I believe the first step for all trainers is to have a deeper reflection on where do they stand in terms of: 1.Their being 2.Their services 3.Their revenue 4.Their digital presence 5.Their social proof etc.... Just being aware of the current state is good enough. It can take days to even understand what's the current state, one has to go deeper and deeper to understand.... I don't know how many trainers would even understand this but it really helps.... Share your views Asif Ebrahim Learners Conclave 9967352331

Some people think that it will make them look stupid! They have been training for years on their thing, but have never had any training in how to train! When I talk to them, you can see it is on the tip of their tongue! They want to ask for training but don't want to be judged! There is no judgement here!! Training is for life and we all need to learn! So if you are a trainer and you want to be world class! (who wouldn't?) get in touch about doing your AET qualification with me either as an individual or as a group in house at an organisation! #Training #Upskill #Learn #Education
