Is your company committed to moving towards net zero? Our passengers certainly are. Since January this year, we have offered passengers the opportunity to support our decarbonisation efforts by adding insetting options to their bookings. Across thousands of passenger sailings, they have contributed to real and measurable reductions in greenhouse gases, demonstrating their support to our journey towards net zero. Their contributions have already led to a reduction of 418 tonnes of CO2e, proving that small actions can have a big impact. But this isn’t just about us - it’s about you too. With our Decarbonised Solutions developed to reduce Scope 3 emissions in your supply chain, you can do that safely and credibly. On top of that, you receive our CO2e Reduction Certificate, so you can report your reductions and demonstrate your commitment to climate action. Let's move towards net zero together. ⛴ Ready to make an impact? Learn more about our Decarbonised Solutions: https://lnkd.in/df-XzuqS

Not surprising - climate change is pushing #sustainability to the forefront of shippers' and carriers’ agendas. What's surprising is that although EVs were a priority for emissions reduction last year, infrastructure hurdles and uncertainty around legislative priorities have resulted in only 13% of carriers adding them to their fleets this year. This is a stark contrast to the 59% that had plans to do so by the end of 2023. Learn more about Breakthrough’s State of Transportation report findings here:https://bit.ly/3xMZizI

A defining moment - for future and current generations! The time to act is now.
Yesterday, our CEO Martin Lundstedt spoke at Fossilfritt Sverige, addressing the critical need for fossil-free competitiveness. He shared a powerful message about the urgency of taking action today to secure a sustainable future: "We have reached a defining moment for future generations. The world is facing the undeniable impacts of climate change. The time to act is now. But the answer isn’t just the zero-emission vehicles and machines we already offer – we also need to be able to deliver competitive and profitable total cost of ownership. The infrastructure needs to be in place along with fossil-free energy and sustainable supply chains. These are the prerequisites for the transition to net zero. Without them it is not possible. We must act and invest today. The urgency is undeniable." The path to net zero requires more than innovation – it demands immediate action and collaboration across industries.

Circularity is critical to achieving global climate targets and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. F-gases—which can be recovered, reclaimed, and reused again and again—can make this a reality for refrigerants. https://chem.rs/4crsoEi #TheWorldNeedsFGases

🏭 The impact of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from vehicles is a pressing environmental concern. Cars and trucks that combust fuel emit GHGs, contributing significantly to global warming. The bigger the engine, the harder it works to push the big truck, the more emissions. These emissions, including carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, can linger in the atmosphere for over a century, acting like a thermal blanket around the Earth. This not only elevates global temperatures but also leads to rising sea levels and disrupts ecosystems, posing severe risks to human health and welfare. In response to these challenges, Expedite All offers a sustainable alternative through its network of small trucks. These vehicles, equipped with smaller engines, are designed to emit fewer GHGs compared to their larger counterparts. By opting for Expedite All's eco-friendly shipping solutions, businesses can significantly reduce their carbon footprint, contributing to a healthier planet. This approach not only aligns with global efforts to combat climate change but also offers a greener, more responsible way to meet logistics needs. ➡️ Discover more about Expedite All's sustainable shipping solutions at www.expediteall.com and stay connected by subscribing to our social media channels. #ExpediteAll #STL #SmallTruckNetwork #SmallTruckLoad #shipping #logistics #supplychain #expeditedshipping

EVs are considered more environmentally friendly than conventional vehicles because they produce zero tailpipe emissions, reducing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. They also offer lower operating costs and can be charged at home or at public charging stations. However, their adoption is still hindered by factors such as limited driving range, higher initial purchase price, and the availability of charging infrastructure. Despite these challenges, the popularity of electric vehicles is steadily increasing as technology advances and governments around the world implement policies to promote their use in efforts to combat climate change.
